How to Avoid Credit Card Fraud and Scams
Currently in Australia there are over 12 million credit cards on issue. Approximately 100,000 credit card transactions occur each day in Australia and a significant number of these are fraudulent.

As consumers we need to be vigilant to avoid becoming a victim or credit card fraud.
- Check your account balance regularly.
- Check your statements. Look for any unauthorised transactions.
If you suspect fraudulent use of your credit card, you should contact your credit card provider immediately.
