Annual Fees are an important credit card feature which should be considered carefully. Annual Fees can vary widely and for very good reasons. There is so much competition today that many credit card providers are in fact advertising no annual fee credit cards.

So why would anyone consider a credit card with an Annual Fee? There are some credit cards which offer benefits that are worth paying an annual fee to use. For example, some cards offer a fixed low rate which may make paying the annual fee worthwhile. Some rewards credit cards offer such great benefits that it is in fact worth paying an annual fee.

There are also some providers who will waive the annual fee if you spend a certain amount on your credit card each year. Some providers will also, waive the annual fee if you have another financial product with them such as a home loan or savings account.

If you spend a substantial amount on your credit card annually and pay an annual fee, it may be worthwhile contacting your provider to see if they are willing to waive the annual fee.
